Who Are We
Keystone Labs was founded by Hayden, a lifelong tinkerer who, as a child, took apart every gadget he could find and rarely put them back together. That same curiosity later led him into repairing audio amplifiers later on, leading to an interest in electrical engineering.
What frustrated him most was how difficult it was to source decent lab equipment and consumables in New Zealand. Almost nothing was stocked locally for immediate purchase, forcing long waits or risky buys from shady grey-market overseas sellers.
So Hayden decided to fix the problem himself. Keystone Labs was created to give Kiwi makers, students, repairers and professionals easy access to genuine test gear — stocked right here, ready for fast dispatch, and backed by honest support.
The company is still driven by that original hands-on spirit today.
